ROBERT LIPPS SEEKS TO FILL VACANT DENNY CENTERS CITY COUNCIL SEAT
FRANKLIN, OH — Following the retirement of Denny Centers — a dedicated public servant who has served on Franklin City Council for 25 years, including terms as Vice-Mayor and Mayor — Robert Lipps has interviewed to be appointed to fill Centers’ now-vacant seat on City Council.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to be considered,” said Robert. “Franklin deserves leadership that is fiscally responsible, focused on smart growth, and committed to keeping our community strong. If appointed, I’ll get to work right away listening to residents and making sure their voices are represented. Our messaging can’t change. We started this campaign for ‘New Leadership Now’ in the city of Franklin. And we’ll continue to carry that message to voters in November.”
Robert launched his campaign for Franklin City Council on July 4th, 2025, and has centered his message on Pro-Business, Pro-Family, and Pro-You leadership. His priorities include fiscal responsibility, responsible growth, and fresh ideas for the future of Franklin.
The City Council is expected to make an appointment to fill the vacant seat on Thursday, September 25th, at a special City Council meeting. In the meantime, Robert continues to share his vision with voters ahead of the November general election.
